Accounts & wallet

You never need to sign up to play Solbeans. An account is made for you the first time you play.

Guest account

• The first time you play, the game creates a guest account and keeps its key in this browser.
• Your progress (level, XP, coins, cosmetics, challenges, settings) is saved to it on the server.
• Guest sessions last 90 days and renew every time you play.
• The catch: a guest account lives in one browser. Clear your site data or switch devices and it is gone. Link a wallet to keep your progress safe across devices.

Your name

Guests get a random name like WobblyBean123 and a random starter look. Change the name with Your name on the title screen or in your profile:

• 3 to 16 characters: letters, numbers and underscores, starting with a letter.
• Names are unique (ignoring upper and lower case). If yours is taken, a number is added.
• Rude words and names that pretend to be staff are blocked.

Signing in with a wallet

Linking a Solana wallet is optional. It lets you keep your account across devices and, later, use token features.

Supported: Phantom, Solflare, Backpack and other wallets that support the Wallet Standard. On a phone, the game offers to open itself inside the Phantom or Solflare app.

A signature, not a transaction

Signing in asks your wallet to sign a short message with a one-time code. Signing a message costs nothing, sends no transaction and cannot move any funds. The message says so itself:

“This signature does not cost anything and does not send a transaction.”

If your wallet ever asks you to approve a transaction when you only wanted to sign in, stop and do not approve it.

How linking works:

• Signed in as a guest, wallet not used before: the wallet is linked to your guest account and you keep all your progress.
• Wallet already linked to another account: you are logged into that account instead. The two accounts are not merged.
• Unlinking turns the account back into a guest account. Items you bought with a token burn or SOL stay yours; holder and whale skins are locked again.

Parties

Play with friends in a party of up to four:

1. Open Party and create one. You get a six-letter code.
2. Share the invite link (or the code). Anyone who opens the link joins automatically.
3. When any party member walks into a portal, everyone in the party who is in the same hub goes into the same show.

Party codes expire after six hours. If the leader leaves, the longest-standing member takes over.

Safety tips

• The game will never ask for your seed phrase or private key. Anyone who does is a scammer.
• Only use the official game link. Check the address bar before connecting a wallet.
